Introduction of SAFEDAM during EuroSDR meeting

From 31 May to 2 June 2017 in Warsaw, the 130th meeting of EuroSDR delegates took place. EuroSDR is an international organization of national geodetic and cartographic agencies and research units from all over Europe. At present, EuroSDR gathers 18 countries, and Poland is represented by Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography (GUGIK) and Warsaw University of Technology.

Due to the fact that this was the first meeting of EuroSDR members in Poland, the first day of the session was devoted to the presentation of the units representing Poland in this group. The SAFEDAM project was selected as one of the two representatives of the scientific profile of the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography. The presentation was given by Dr. Krzysztof Bakuła (Chairman of the Steering Committee in this project) with co-authorship of project manager, prof. Zdzisław Kurczyński.
